Ann Curry

Ann Curry has worked as an journalist for over nearly 45 years. Her reporting focuses on natural disasters as well as areas of war. Finally, she graduated Ashland High School. She paved her way for a successful career when she began her career in broadcasting by working as an intern for KTVL Channel 10 in Medford Oregon. She later became the first female news reporter in the station's history at the aged of just 22. After that, she moved to anchoring and reporting at KGW, an NBC-affiliated station in Portland. After that, she moved to Los Angeles four years later to work as a reporter for KCBS TV. In the course of her work with this channel for six years that she received two Emmy Awards.
